Sandra Loeffler works with scars, stress, and the nervous system. She is an integrative therapist and board-certified master mental health coach who helps people release the pain their bodies still remember — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With a unique approach that blends fascia maneuvers, assisted stretch therapy, and somatic movement with trauma-informed mental health coaching, Sandra supports clients in relieving stress-related tension, improving mobility, and cultivating deep regulation. Her approach is intuitive yet grounded in clinical training, offering a safe, holistic path to healing for those who have tried everything and still feel stuck.
In this podcast episode, Sandra shares stories of how early injuries — a broken collarbone at birth, a dog bite to the face at age five, a cracked cheekbone, and a traumatic brain injury — left more than visible scars. They left deep imprints on her nervous system. Over time, she realized that society often encourages us to cover our wounds rather than understand them. Her personal journey to find relief from chronic pain, arthritis, scars, and stress became the foundation of her life’s work. Today, she sees scars not as surface flaws but as messengers — emotional and energetic imprints the body holds until they are acknowledged, expressed, and released.
Sandra teaches that scars — whether physical, emotional, or spiritual — can create lasting tension in the fascia, disrupt the nervous system, and contribute to chronic pain and mental health challenges. She helps clients connect to these stored imprints through fascia-based therapy, breathwork, and gentle movement, creating space for the body to shift out of survival mode and into a state of healing and recovery. “When the scar softens,” she says, “the breath deepens. When the fascia unwinds, the nervous system settles. And when we stop trying to fix the scar and instead honor it, that’s when true healing begins.”
Her work is rooted in the integration of body, mind, and soul, with a strong emphasis on the nervous system, trauma-informed care, and intuitive, faith-aligned practices. Sandra’s faith remains foundational to her work. While some may see her techniques as unconventional or “woo-woo,” she explains that the more she studies the body’s complexity and resilience, the more awe she feels that we are truly fearfully and wonderfully made.
